Low Income Housing Energy Assistance Program

Low Income Housing Energy Assistance Program

The national Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) program is overseen by the Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS).  This funding is available for home heating (natural gas, propane, electric) and Virginia’s annual enrollment period for ends on this Friday, November 11.  Apply for funding by visiting CommonHelp.  Families and individuals can also apply through their local department of social services.

A big Shout-Out to Virginia Natural Gas for creating an Energy Assistance flyer, working with community, faith-based, government organizations to share this enrollment period.
